Mind Play: A collection of sound poems for prepared marimba - To be released in May 2022!

In May 2022, I will be releasing my newest composition project, Mind Play: A collection of sound poems for prepared marimba. I have been working with the prepared marimba for over a decade. The first piece I wrote was called Never Never Is(land). I wrote it for a show that I produced in Montreal that featured a variety of preparations and the full five octaves. This newer project is comprised of five short pieces, or poems, for the prepared marimba, each using a limited range and sound preparation.

Over the next few weeks, I will share recordings of the first two poems. Hope you enjoy!!
